Wedding Inspiration

Hello Friends!

With November and December quickly approaching, I wanted to take a second and share some of my favorite wedding inspiration with you! As the holidays are upon us, engagement season is as well!  Many of you are starting to think about weddings this spring and summer and we wanted to share some of our favorites from Rocky Mountain Bride!  This magazine is packed full of the best Rocky Mountain weddings. From dresses and bridal shops, to wedding cakes and centerpieces!  This magazine is your go-to.  We hope you find it as helpful as we did!

Seasons

Seasons

Fall is quickly approaching in this little rocky mountain town. More snow is appearing on the mountain tops, and the aspens are slowly turning from greens and yellows to bright oranges and reds. One thing that I’ve always loved about living here is the change in seasons. Fall is by far my favorite! Dressing in cozy sweaters, pumpkin spice lattes, crisp cool mountain air, and the holidays soon approaching.

I’m thankful to live in a place that has a change in seasons, but also so thankful for the many seasons of life. Out of all seasons, marriage is one of the best! Sharing this season with friends and family gathered together to celebrate such a special union is something irreplaceable.

Marriage isn’t always perfect; and throughout marriage you will experience many different seasons. This is what makes it beautiful though… It’s ever-changing and continually molding into something better together. Marriage will continue to change as you experience more seasons. Seasons of happiness, struggle, joy, loss and success. But it’s all of these seasons… good and bad that make the in end result so beautiful.

I wanted to share these pictures with you guys so you could get a glimpse of what fall is going to look like next year at the barn at Sunset Ranch, and I hope you decide to experience this season and many more with us!

Promises

Promises

According to Webster’s Dictionary, a promise is defined as a “ground for expectation of success, improvement or excellence.”

Last week a storm came roaring through our little town of BV and I was able to capture this photo immediately after.  It’s a reminder that even after some of our biggest storms in life, there is beauty that comes from within – a declaration of hope and a promise for the future.

In the same way, a wedding ring is a promise to love and keep one another and a symbol of forever together through the good times and bad.

Whatever your love story may be, and wherever your journey may lead you, we are excited to be part of your story and hope to help you show your love for each other to the world and to your closest friends and family on your wedding day.  We want to help bless and honor your promise to one another.

Our promise to you is to continue to build this barn from the foundation up in hope to be fully functioning by July of 2018. Can’t wait to share the journey with you and keep you informed of our progress along the way with a dream facility coming soon… we promise!

Foundations

Foundations

We are so excited to be breaking ground at Sunset Ranch!  Here is one of the first snapshots of the foundation being laid at The Barn at Sunset Ranch – The beginning of many memories on this beautiful property.  We can’t wait to share more about the foundation of Sunset Ranch and are so blessed to get to join you in the foundation of marriage.

The vision of Sunset Ranch emerged after planning our own children’s weddings in the mountains of Colorado.  This sparked a passion to help couples make their most important commitment in their dream location, one they would remember for a lifetime.

We believe that the foundation of a marriage is something that is highly valued and want to do everything possible to make sure the commitment and promises exchanged on that day are as memorable as possible.  We hope to shine light on your wedding day to enable you to portray your marriage to your closest friends and family as you always dreamed.

Marriage

“If you want something to last forever, you treat it differently, you shield it and protect it.  You never abuse it.  You don’t expose it to the elements.  You don’t make it common or ordinary.  If it ever becomes tarnished, you lovingly polish it until it gleams like new.  It becomes special because you have made it so, and it grows more beautiful and precious as time goes by.”
